Whistleblower Protection Act 2010
In an effort to encourage whistleblowers to come forward with information on any alleged improper conduct, the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 provides safe avenues for them to make disclosures of such alleged improper conduct to the relevant authorities in good faith, by protecting their identities, providing them with immunity from civil and criminal proceedings and protecting them from detrimental action.
Whistleblowers may choose to report to regulators or law enforcement agencies directly as prescribed by the Act including, but not limited to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the Police, and the Labour Department. In this regard, potential whistleblowers may wish to seek legal advice from a legal practitioner before making the report.
To ensure the highest level of service, for regular service-related inquiries and complaints related to accounts or policies we encourage customers to lodge their reports and inquiries via the regular customer service channel.
