Library of Hope

On 5th May 2018, 15 Manulifers teamed up with PeopleGiving by Manulife and drove down to Kampung Bertang, Bentong, Pahang. Equipped with DIY book racks and loads of pre-loved books and toys, the team diligently set out to build a Library of Hope for the Orang Asli children.

The Library of Hope is an initiative that aims to provide a conducive and encouraging space for rural children to gain knowledge. This is Manulife’s fourth initiative, having set up previous libraries at Kampung Sat and Tidong, Sungkai, Perak as well as at Kampung Bersih, Slim River, Perak.

A Saturday well-spent carving out smiles for the little ones and providing them a literacy opportunity!
